New Review! The Regal LX43 blurs the line between a premium center console and a luxury day/weekend cruiser. With a 13’2” beam (17’6” with terraces deployed), convertible lounge space, and fishing-ready features like twin 22-gal livewells. Step below, and you’ll find two well-appointed staterooms and a spacious head. Regal’s design team packed this 44-footer with thoughtful touches—fold-out decks, sunpad options, and triple-outboard configurations up to 1,800 hp. Here's a glimpse of the upcoming build series of my new tender to Flying Spur! The mast sections are mated together by an inner-ring of epoxied carbon fiber tape The sail was cut from tanbark cloth by Sailrite. I assembled everything from there I decided to use a mast track instead of the common "zippered sleeve" for reasons of simplicity and durability. A small shim was used to "ramp" the track between the different-sized mast poles, and it glides really well. Music: "The Bottom of The Ocean" by Matt Garver
On Saturday 1st February, Comanche Raider III crew members Ramon Sant Hill, Daniel Bartolo and Mark Muscat joined the Serious Fun crew. Owned by Jan Versteeg and Sally Jackson, this was this boat’s first foray in the Club’s event. Joining there were Kurt Camilleri and Paul Masters who all found this cruise to be an excellent opportunity to get into the RMYC Sailing scene and are looking forward to the next event.
