It's not Maine, the Pacific Northwest or British Colombia...I'm sailing a Colorado lake nestled high in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. The sailboat is our 2010 Precision 18 trailer sailer, s/v "Mandatory Fun." Winds were perfect, so I sailed "wing-on-wing" along the rugged shoreline on a dead downwind run under a full mainsail. La sécurité en mer sur un voilier est primordiale pour l’ensemble des marins. Plusieurs situations peuvent entraîner rapidement l’hypothermie, sauter à l’eau car son voilier est en train de couler, se retrouver dans son canot de survie de longues heures, une chute accidentelle à la mer, un déséquilibre etc… Se retrouver à l’eau sans combinaison de survie réduit considérablement nos chances de survie.
