Shortly after the start of the 2024 Ardglass Race the team on GTR forgot that they were the second fleet to start and that there were a bunch of cruisers that that they need to pass on the way to the narrows. The mainsheet man heard the call of starboard and pointed out that they need to duck quick to avoid the right of way yacht. A quick ease of the main followed by a duck had GTR heading out the the building pressure on the right before taking over on the starboard and heading for the entry of the narrows. Why don’t we start with the v-berth aka my little cozy nook on Blu 🥰 I was worried I wouldn’t have enough room for my stuff but NOPE! Everything fits perfectly. I should have brought more… 🧐 Putting on clean sheets is a bit of a nightmare, but I still make my bed every single morning 😌 Clothes are mostly all rolled up to the side, extra sheets and towels in drawers under the bed, tons of space in my little closet, and two spaces behind the mirror in the bathroom for toiletries. I have a whole shelf waiting to be filled with books which makes me soooo happy 📚 We installed a couple hooks for my Fanny packs and hats to hang on, and all my workout bands are tucked behind my door in a basket.
