Nursing a 32m trimaran that is designed for high speeds downwind in flat water around the world through the tough stuff when you are hauling it against the prevailing winds and currents for 40,000 miles is one thing, but negotiating a tropical cyclone that has 295km/hr winds and 10m waves takes things onto another level.
This is the second day after the tsunami at my marina in southern California. Note that the tide is rushing out (compared to the normal flow). It has been rushing in and out about every 30 minutes since the day of the tsunami. -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- Please watch: "SBS ep.121 - Sailing Back from Catalina and a Postmortem" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DPxhSgXk8sM -~-~~-~~~-~~-~-
