Due to a hectic week of sailing our boat to her berth, moving in and overwhelmed by fatigue, I made a preview for this week of vlog 11. Next week the full episode will be online! I'm curious to know if this is the average population density of crown of thorns sea stars for this area of Baja California. I went down a little rabbit hole about their biology, behavior, and ways we can support the coral reef ecosystem. That being said, what I witnessed while scuba diving in La Paz is nothing compared to the imagery I found of these sea stars taking over coral reefs in Australia.
