Opening sequence for the Great Loop videos. 2026 is the year this wild idea of a solar electric catamaran becomes our full time home as we travel 6,000 miles around Americaโs Great Loop. We start by going North along the ICW and Chesapeake Bay. After the Hudson River takes us past New York City, itโs off to the Trent Severn Waterway, Georgian Bay and Great Lakes. Next, we head through downtown Chicago as we follow the birds South down the Inland Rivers into the Gulf. From there we navigate around Florida. Weather permitting, we would like to try our hand at bluewater as we jump across to the Bahamas for a month. Finally, we pick back up with the ICW and cross our wake sometime in 2027!
