The sky is grey, the rain is starting, and the first lightning strikes the water. We are entering a massive storm zone in the Strait of Malacca. You can feel the tension in the air! #storm #sailing #lightning #ocean #weather #yacht #straitofmalacca #adventure #nature #captain

Like what you see? Watch the FULL VIDEO on our channel 😀 After being in storage for months on end we were finally able to launch our catamaran tender thanks to some help from a kind Trinidadian local. We've experienced many instances of the Trinidadian generosity of spirit while here, and hope to showcase that during our time in Trinidad, as well as pay the kindness back and forward. While our initial plan was to go DDI, or Down De Islands, we ended up hopping up the Trinidad coastline ending up in Scotland Bay. Scotland Bay is generally only accessible by water and is hugely popular for Trinidadians looking to swim, lime and hang out with friends by the water.
