Refit glow-up time! 🔥 In the final week of our sailboat refit, we gave our aluminum catamaran a whole new look — complete with a brand-new burgundy boot stripe to match our fresh color theme. After scuffing, cleaning, and prepping the hull, we sprayed on soapy water, grabbed a squeegee, and got to work applying the new stripe. A little teamwork and… WOW! What a transformation! The manufacturer has unveiled its latest “little” boat, the Rapido 40. Trick of the light - that’s its name - has shown good average speeds right from its first sail. This model, in the Racer version, is boosted with C-foils and a carbon rig. While the central hull has a very narrow beam at the waterline, reasonable volume is nevertheless ensured inside, thanks to a marked chine. The floats are particularly voluminous, obviously guaranteeing good strength.
