I bought a wee sailboat!! Introducing ENYA, a 26ft Victoria 800 built in 1996. After spending the last 6 months working my arse off and saving as much money as I could I finally did it!!! I had my eye on this boat when it first came on the market, and eventually went to have a look at it when I got back to Scotland. We hauled her out for a survey last week, and.. to keep a long story short I was handed the keys 3 days ago and we went on the maiden voyage yesterday. Gahhh I’m probably the happiest human in the world right now, just look at that wee canoe stern. After 10 years of living overseas, the plan is to spend the next few months sailing around the Scottish isles, seeing more of my homeland and hanging with the family. Day 5 offshore sailing from Chile to Panama ⛵️ When we are on long passages one of the most important jobs is to check all lines, blocks, sails ect. for wear and tear. Being used non stop for days will inevitably cause damage.
