Learning how to tie the Stevedore Stopper knot is well worth the effort. Here at bottom up boats we think it is the ultimate stopper knot. These three key features of the stevedore stopper knot ensure that you will never loose a line through a pulley or cleat while knowing you will not need a knife to undo the knot after it has been loaded up.
