One of the biggest decisions we had to make when preparing to buy our yacht was whether or not to buy a dog. We looked at the pros and cons of having a dog on the boat and researched what type of dog might be best suited for a life aboard. Ultimately we settled on an Australian Shepherd and a few months later Rose came into our lives. Now, we couldn't imagine traveling the world without her.
Here's a glimpse of the upcoming build series of my new tender to Flying Spur! The mast sections are mated together by an inner-ring of epoxied carbon fiber tape The sail was cut from tanbark cloth by Sailrite. I assembled everything from there I decided to use a mast track instead of the common "zippered sleeve" for reasons of simplicity and durability.
