Buon vento! https://elearning.nauticain4settimane.it https://www.nauticain4settimane.it https://www.enjoysailing.it https://www.latuabarcascuola.it

PREPARING COCKPIT: Singlehanded Docking Stern To with Lazy Lines Value of set up is often under-rated. Here's video 4 in Nicks step by step process getting set up and ready for Singlehanded Docking Stern To with Lazy Lines. =========================== Watch the full video here - https://youtu.be/-OPs960oR88 Transcript: I'm also going to make sure that my everything's ready. That there's nothing in the cockpit that's going to interrupt me. So like I've got these lovely cushions down here for the photo shoot. That's great. But I'm going to want to step up over these if I want to get out of this side of the cockpit with the line. So I'm getting rid of that uh the tables are up and there's nothing going to fall off here. I'm going to do this other side pillow as well. Also preparing me. All right. I'm going to get warm doing this. So I don't need this jacket on anymore. As much as I love wearing the brand -then double checks! What do I need ready. I need my bow thrusters and Stern thrusters ready. If I've got them and I want to use them they're turning on. Just make sure there's no switches that need to go on all of a sudden. I double check my lines. Yes these are all set up. Fenders, fenders nothing slipped off. And always check this! Make sure this is not actually caught up. The number of times I put that line out first then tied this fender on and it's hooked under it so just always double check! =========================== Filmed and Edited by Mahina Hathaway and Nick Hathaway, 45 Degrees Sailing Looking to sail in Croatia? Let's talk about that mechanic quote... 💸😤 We DROVE Buster to the shop. The quote? $16,000 in repairs. For the brake booster and master cylinder alone? $3,800. After doing our own research, we're fixing the entire brake system ourselves for under $400. The "necessary repairs" they quoted? We can do ALL of it for less than $4K because there's nothing catastrophically wrong with our bus. This is why we're documenting The Buster Restoration Project - to show you that classic vehicle restoration doesn't have to break the bank. Sometimes mechanics see an old bus and see dollar signs. We see a project we can tackle ourselves. 🔧 Parts cost: ~$350 💰 Mechanic quote: $3,800 ✨ Satisfaction: Priceless 🔔 Subscribe to follow our budget-friendly restoration journey 💬 Have you dealt with outrageous mechanic quotes?
