Every spring I post a video of the Multihull Centre. This has been my home base since 1982. And every year it seems to get ever more crowded with multihulls. In part of course because they are all much larger than 30 years ago. In this video you can see two Transit 38's, a Gypsy 28 and an Eclipse. Peter Harburg’s RP 100 Black Jack continues to show good form in her preparations for the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race, winning the SOLAS Big Boat Challenge on Sydney Harbour last week. In September this year the Bow Caddy Media was given the opportunity to join some of the luminaries of Australian sailing aboard Black Jack (including Tom Slingsby, Chris Nicholson and Tom Addis) for their early work-up campaign in the Whitsundays under skipper Mark Bradford. So, as a taster in the lead-up to the Boxing Day start of the great race south, here’s an on-board view of how the action unfolds on Black Jack when the breeze is up.
