We adopted Basil a few months ago. As far as anyone knows, he never had a home until now. He was fed as a stray in Kamloops last winter and had an injured leg. He was trapped and taken to the local shelter. Somehow he then made his way down to Vancouver where we met him at the local SPCA and brought him to his new home, W. Grebe. He is settling in just fine to life on the water. You see plenty more of Basil in future episodes. #BeLikeBasil #sailingcats #boatcat

We had just finished installing our Auto Pilot and took her out so we could do the calibrations. We captured Wild Oats XI's first sail since her recent transformation. This was her first time on the water in preparation for her Rolex Sydney Hobart Line Honours defence. Even at a distance she looked good.
