I'm putting some videos online of the next refit that I'm reluctantly performing on Voyager. You can find them on the YT page for the Podcast. This was the first 2 days in the yard, getting ready for the mast to come down in preparation for the keel coming off. Everything has gone fine so far but ive had to do some unexpected fibreglass work which was obviously a joy. Cheers! #sailing

SAILING CROATIA Sunken Ship Wrecks Add diving and snorkelling to sailing and Croatia is an even more exciting destination. This wreck is located in the Zadar archipelago, near Veli Rat. A 76 metre long ship sunken and partly submerged. Some say she was stranded in a storm. Others say it was an insurance job. Who knows?! All we know is that it makes for damn good snorkeling!

En esta ocasiรณn hemos ido al puerto de Punta Lagoa a hacer una inspecciรณn de la jarcia firme, jarcia de labor y el palo de un velero Jeanneau Sun Odissey 409. Al llegar me encuentro con un barco muy bien cuidado por sus armadores. Una limpieza perfecta. Tener el barco limpio ayuda a no tener averรญas. Cuanta mรกs limpieza, menos corrosiรณn. Tenlo claro. Lo primero que hago es poner el tensiรณmetro de jarcia en los obenques. Deberรญan tener una tensiรณn del 15% de su carga de ruptura y estรกn al 12%. Opto por darle un poco mรกs de tensiรณn. En cuanto al centrado, estรก perfecto. A los obenques bajos les doy una tensiรณn del 12%. Subo al palo y me encuentro unos rayazos producidos por el grillete de la driza de la mayor. Corrosiรณn en el soporte de la antena del radar, un trozo de cinta en la roldana de la driza de gรฉnova... Pero todo en muy buen estado.
