GALENE, the latest Amels 180 yacht from our successful Limited Editions range, was launched at our yard in Vlissingen beginning of March 2020. Her name derives from Ancient Greek, meaning “serenity, tranquility, calmness”. She stands out with her huge open Sun Deck with pool, a charming Owners Suite with folding balcony, plus an extended Bridge Deck aft and full-beam lounge. Project Manager Elouise Reiff comments, “The team did the name GALENE justice. I am very proud of the hard work done by everyone involved. Through their efforts the launch went smoothly and according to plan.” Designed by Tim Heywood, GALENE is a superbly engineered yacht with proven reliability. She will be available for charter in the Mediterranean in the summer and the Caribbean in the winter with Y.CO. Featuring a calm, light and subtly art-deco inspired interior by Laura Sessa, the yacht will accommodate up to 12 guests in five cabins.
