When in town one must always visit the local watering holes. 🍻 Of course we had to visit Green TurtleTavern, but we noticed there was a new place across from it that wasn’t here last time we were here. We stopped at Hofbrau Amelia, an authentic German style biergarten. We got a couple mugs of hefeweizen and giant pretzel that totally spoiled our dinner but was so worth it! 🥨 . Olympic Yacht Show 2025 Η 5η διοργάνωση της κορυφαίας έκθεσης σκαφών στην Ελλάδα ολοκληρώθηκε με μεγάλη επιτυχία 9-12 Οκτωβρίου 2025, στην Olympic Marine, στο Λαύριο. Σε κλίμα γιορτής και ενθουσιασμού, περισσότεροι από 25.000 επισκέπτες είχαν την ευκαιρία να απολαύσουν 140 σκάφη μέσα στο νερό, 400 luxury brands, πολλές πρεμιέρες σκαφών και παράλληλα events, ενώ η αύξηση του αριθμού των ξένων επισκεπτών και η συμμετοχή διεθνών key players της βιομηχανίας του yachting ενίσχυσε ακόμα περισσότερο τη διεθνή ταυτότητα της έκθεσης. Επαναπροσδιορίζοντας τα standards της εγχώριας εκθεσιακής εμπειρίας, το Olympic Yacht Show δίνει έμφαση στην ποιότητα, την αισθητική, την καινοτομία και την ουσιαστική επαγγελματική δικτύωση, σε ένα event-σημείο αναφοράς για τους επαγγελματίες και τους λάτρεις της θάλασσας, που συμβάλει στην ανάπτυξη του θαλάσσιου τουρισμού στην Ελλάδα και στην προβολή της χώρας ως κορυφαίο προορισμό Yachting στον κόσμο. After kindly being gifted a cook book by a Trinidadian vendor at the Central Market in Port of Spain I've been practicing cooking different local dishes. It's a style of cooking that's jam packed with spices and fresh ingredients that pack a punch in terms of flavour! I know how seriously the people of Trinidad and Tobago take their cooking so wanted to make sure I could do a decent effort before I shared how it went!
