Offering over 6′ of standing headroom in her spacious cabin, the v-berth converts to a large seating area with a clever table design that is easily removable and stowed when not in use. Two large quarter berths, an enclosed head and a galley that has a large icebox and two burner stove completes the crew accommodation. Topsides the clean rig setup, large cockpit, furling genoa and electric windlass are all assets for easy single handed sailing. Crowded anchorages? No problem as the centerboard retractable keel will allow you to gunkhole into cozy coves just waiting to be explored throughout the Gulf Islands and beyond. We sail on the good ship Saracen, a Beneteau Oceanis 473 from 2006. Out journey started in Scotland in early 2023 and our ultimate goal is to sail around the globe …..slowly. We make these videos mostly for family and friends and to create a record of our adventures for ourselves so that we can look back at them later in life, were not in it to make money (way to hard).
