It’s finally time to cross the Atlantic. All the lights are green, Tiboulen hoists the sails as it leaves the port of Mindelo, sailing alongside three other Jeanneau boats from different generations. ⛵ For most of the crossing, Sail for Tomorrow were on the same tack (port tack at 150° to the wind), with the same sail configuration (wing-on-wing, genoa poled out), and more or less the same speed (5.7 knots on average). The crew experienced some incredible moments during this crossing. Fishing was a highlight, halfway through, they crossed paths with one of the three Jeanneau sailing boats. Windelo has no intention of playing small. It recently announced two larger bluewater catamarans: the Windelo 58 and the Windelo 62. Founded in 2019, the French yard has already carved out a successful market with its eco-conscious, performance-oriented catamarans.  ▫️ These new flagships are a bold statement of intent from Windelo.
