🪢 Sunday Boat Tip [26/52] 🪢 Are you team upwind or team downwind? Linnea was our first boat with a furling headsail and the natural way for us was to head upwind. It was always a hard job, and Marcus was the only one with enough strength to be able to furl it in even though we only had a small self-tacking jib. But then we got this advice and it was a game changer! The idea seems pretty obvious now, but we had just never considered it! Now handling the furler is an easy job, that we both can manage. We moored in this peaceful bay on August 13, 2021 ... the night before then tropical storm Grace (which became Hurricane Grace) chased us from this point in St. John to the marina in St. Thomas USVI.
