Step onto the wide steps of the Lagoon 60 and come aboard! The aft cockpit welcomes you and reveals its full potential at first sight. Life on board has never looked so promising ! ⛵✨ _______________________________________________________ CATAMARAN INNOVATORS SINCE 1984 Lagoon was formed in pursuit of connection – with ourselves, our loved ones and the world around us. By bringing the human experience to the 7 seas, we’ve been able to unleash an unbridled sense of curiosity and instinctual need for quality since 1984. Something we wouldn’t have accomplished without a collective passion for spectacular destinations and even better journeys getting there. As confirmed sailors, we all know that our boats have to be fast, comfortable and safe: seaworthy. We build them based on our love of the sea and the constant aim of good-quality work. We design them as if we were the future owners. As shipbuilders and sailors, it is part of our logic. What Sailing means to me. Sailing is a source of inspiration and humility, it teaches attentiveness, anticipation, resourcefulness, patience and prioritisation. The choice that we made to take a leap of faith and buy a sailboat has led to countless beautiful experiences and over time, we have grown to understand more about ourselves, each other, our boat & mother nature. We live our days on the ocean under the sky, moon, stars and sun, we witness the change of tides daily until it is clockwork in our brain. There's still a mountain of learning to be done, but today, we celebrate our growth. Chapter by chapter we turn the pages of our own syllabus trying to better ourselves by 1% everyday. "At first I was afraid I was petrified." Overtime, with practice and repetition, with knowledge we have gained through experience, fears are replaced by anticipation and I look forward to the growth ahead of us aboard Ujud as sailors.
With the first boat now in sight, the Race Directors Jeremy and Cam reflect on the senseless loss of the ORCV Race Control van as they setup a make shift race management desk in the cold. Thankfully the winds have continued to build with some reporting 30 knots at times and the first boat due in within the hour.
