Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking ЁЯе│ After months of hard work IтАЩve successfully passed my command upgrade course and can now call myself a captain. IтАЩm beyond happy and excited for this new chapter in my career! Welcome onboard ЁЯдН (the audio is only a joke! donтАЩt be grumpy ЁЯШВ)
Not to bad wind in the beginning but later in the day it stopped. So with an engine overheated it took me 14 hours to get to Malm├╢. Sometimes 0.5 knots, i could see the bridge to Denmark in hours. I arriwed to Malm├╢ in the middle of the night , took a mooring and opened a cold beer ЁЯШКЁЯН║
Any #yacht featured in the superb pre-Second World War series of тАШUffa Fox booksтАЩ is without question a special one, and DRIAC may be best known these days from her inclusion in FoxтАЩs тАШSailing, Seamanship and Yacht ConstructionтАЩ (1934). From a time when the design of the ideal offshore #sailing #cruiser was still evolving and much discussed, Uffa waxed lyrical about this characterful Charles E. Nicholson design which had comfortably reeled off well over 5000 miles in her first two seasons, including Portsmouth to Malta and back, under the command of her redoubtable first owner, A.G.H. Macpherson. DRIAC is still taking people on sailing adventures and, as she has always done, entrances with her looks, presence, and no-nonsense sailing ability. https://www.sandemanyachtcompany.co.uk/yacht/608/DRIAC
