This year, KM Yachtbuilders is celebrating its 25th anniversary and we are not letting that pass unnoticed. Our anniversary year will start with an extra festive open day on Saturday April 22. That day everyone is welcome for a look behind the scenes of the Makkum shipyard. Watched the fog roll off the summits here for a good thirty minutes. This was late April and truly enjoyed looking out over the hillsides to see green trees starting to fill in. As with Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee had been sparse with tree cover. I had started to worry about sunburn.
