We’ve had interest in Dazcat boat sharing partnerships, or co-ownership. We won't take on the management of any co-owned boats but are happy to help you to find potential co-owners on a location basis – this is how it works: - If you’re interested in co-ownership get in touch with us. - If we know of someone in your area, with your permission we’ll put you in touch. - If we don’t know of someone we’ll make a location-based shout out, as seen on the video. - When someone responds, we’ll put you in touch to discuss your wants and priorities: What model of Dazcat/ Whether to race, cruise or both/ How many partners/ What type of contract etc. - When you’re ready you can come and talk to us about your boat and its requirements. - Of course we are happy to talk to you at any stage of your planning and offer a test sail as per our usual client service. For our first location shout out we have two people in the UK Solent area interested in a Dazcat 1295 build, to be ready for sail in 2022. They are looking for one or two more partners. One of these may want to upgrade plans to a 1495. We have another person interested in the US/ Canada Pacific NW region: Vancouver/ Seattle/ Portland. Giornata in cui le mani non riescono a stare in mano. In barca è così: qualcosa da fare c’è sempre. Oggi i lavori in agenda sono due: impiombare la drizza del gennaker e stringere (più rimettere proprio) alcune viti nel rollafiocco. Nel frattempo succedono cose in cucina: pasta con peperoni, guacamole e vellutate. Di certo l’attenzione posta nella cambusa sta portando i suoi frutti. Speriamo succeda la stessa cosa anche con l’attenzione spesa nell’acquisto di esche e strumenti per la pesca! Oggi un pesce l’abbiamo preso, ma nessun segno di compagnia. Arriverà. L’evento di oggi è una sorpresa: a bordo non sapevamo di essere in 8. Qualcuno di molto tenero si aggirava per le cabine senza farsi sentire. Solo Ale era a conoscenza della sua presenza, avendolo portato senza passaporto. Signore e signori, ecco a voi Giorgio Cataratta. Il nuovo membro dell’equipaggio. Un aiuto che non ci meritiamo, ma di cui avevamo disperatamente bisogno. Ci vediamo domani con nuove avventure e racconti di Giorgio! Ps: Canzone del mitico @andcerrato, sempre con noi ❤️

cómo se pasa a vela un estrecho. #navegaravela #navegacion #patrón. Ría de Vigo a vela. Siempre que llegamos a un cabo y mucho más a un estrecho el viento va a rolar y aumentar su intensidad. Ya que tiene que pasar toda la masa de aire por un área angosta, tendrá que acelerarse y aumentar su intensidad por ello. Si no conocemos la zona, o no tenemos un plan o estrategia para pasarlo a vela, nos va a costar mucho, ya que nos encontraremos roles de más de 90grados de los bordes al centro del canal. Si nos gusta la vela, este es un reto muy divertido. Si tienes tiempo esa mañana, haz como nosotros. Al paso, tendrás una sensación de satisfacción al haber logrado tu meta.
