► Sunreef Yachts ► A Third Shipyard Near Dubai The specialist in large custom luxury catamarans already operates out of two sites in Gdańsk, Poland, but has also just opened third yard in Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. For the builder, demand in the Middle East region is indeed significant, justifying an investment of nearly 30 million euros with the aim of expanding its industrial capacity by building a new state-of-the-art facility. Sunreef Yachts acquired a 16-acre (65,000 m²) site on which the construction of a first 110,000 square foot (10,000 m²) building was completed. The new yard began production in September 2023, initially employing around 50 staff. This might be the most unforgettable Khao Soi we’ve ever tried… A place built by 9 relatives - each of them a chef, each adding a piece of their soul here. But what stayed with me the most… was watching her. An elderly Thai woman, carefully making the crispy noodles - one of the most important parts of Khao Soi. Every portion - slow, intentional, full of respect. You can literally feel it in the taste. I even got to talk to her… and you just know this is more than food.
