On a quitté un instant notre terrain de jeu habituel pour tester le Sun Odyssey 440… et quelle journée ! ⛵️✨ Un monocoque avec un comportement marin exceptionnel, une glisse incroyable et un confort vraiment bluffant. Un vrai retour aux sensations “pures” de la voile, qui nous rappelle pourquoi on est tombés amoureux de la mer. Et même si notre cœur bat fort pour @excess_catamarans , on doit le dire : 👉 ce 440 nous a offert une session mémorable. For centuries sailors have navigated their way across the oceans by celestial navigation or nautical astronomy - using a sextant with the sun, moon, planets, and stars. For the modern sailor, it is essential when crossing oceans as back up to the modern and much relied upon electronic navigation. If you are curious about how to use a sextant or have taken the RYA Yachtmaster or Ocean Theory courses, or are even self-taught, our celestial sailing weekends are ideal offering both an introduction and a refresher. All are welcome. A big advantage is that you learn in a small group, under the supervision of an expert instructor. The weekends involve sailing along the south side of the Isle of Wight and back up through the Needles. A beautiful area to sail whilst offering ample opportunity to practice using the sextant.
