My first foray into Timelapse Video. Lessons for next time: 1. Don't forget anything at home. 2. Bring a book... and a jacket. 3. The wide open apeture setting reduces flicker, but the depth of field makes things look out of focus on f/1.4... Better to accept some flicker and fix in post-processing. 4. Shooting on North Ave footbridge is way too shaky. Image stabilization is a pain in the neck. 5. Egg timer motion devices don't handle the weight of a DSLR very well. Image stabilization is still a pain in the neck.

Emirates Team New Zealand, the Defenders of the America’s Cup, wasted no time getting ‘Te Rehutai’ out sailing on the waters off Barcelona on Friday, a day earlier than scheduled thanks to a favourable forecast and typically efficient shore crew hitting the ground running and re-rigging the AC75 just days after arriving in the city themselves. #AC37Recon #Shorts Subscribe to the official America's Cup channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/americascup Like America’s Cup On Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/americascup Follow America’s Cup On Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/americascup Follow America’s Cup On Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/americascup Stay up to date with the America’s Cup newsletter: https://www.americascup.com/en/newsletter The 37th America's Cup will be Defended in Barcelona by four-time America's Cup winner, the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron represented by their team, Emirates Team New Zealand. #AmericasCup #AC37 #Barcelona2024

On @Dreamtimesail we continue our explorations sailing our classic Whitby 42 Ketch through extremely remote areas of Indonesia and are amazed as each and every stop provides new adventures with extremely friendly locals and incredible sights to see above and below the water. We thought the north coast of the island of Seram had provided it all but then the surprises continued as we had a cracking sail onto an unexpected gem of an anchorage in a coral lagoon at a tiny village on Pulau Minipa. Here a planned overnight stay got stretched to spend time with the locals and enjoy some glorious snorkelling amongst the myriads of tropical fish and very healthy coral. Then we had another spirited sail across to the city of Namlea on Buru Island. Who says there’s no wind in Indonesia? We’ve found plenty so far.
