For anyone visiting Corsica, the calanques de Piana are a must-see. Listed by UNESCO, this is one of the most beautiful places in Corsica. The steep red cliffs offer a beautiful landscape and we also had a beautiful view of the mountains from the catamaran at anchor below the town of Piana. Especially when we lifted our drone at the end of the afternoon, the orange colors are even more enhanced by the low sun.

Ogni compleanno va celebrato come si deve. Chissà perché il 30esimo per noi è così importante. Si tirano le fila. Si fa un primo checkpoint della strada percorsa fino a qui. Si realizza che il tempo va in una direzione sola. Per me c’è poca differenza, 29, 30, 31, sono tutti vicini. Invece la vera discriminante è un’altra. Avremmo mai immaginato di festeggiare il mio compleanno, a febbraio, in costume da bagno ai Caraibi? Neanche a pensarci. Questo è il vero insegnamento che voglio portarmi a casa. Tante preoccupazioni sul futuro e poi la vita decide che devi prendere una strada a cui mai e poi mai avresti pensato. Occhi aperti ragazzi, e soprattutto antenne alzate! Non sappiamo mai cosa si nasconde dietro l’angolo. Che volete farci, l’età mi ha reso saggia… A domani! Camilla
