The Lahakai sailboat is a 34” custom built steel sailboat, made in 1997 in France and sailed all the way to the shores of Brazil. It was then brought to Niteroi where she sat completely neglected in a boat club for 10 years. And that’s when we found her! There is so much more to come so remember to subscribe to Lahakai! ➡️ WEEKLY VIDEOS EVERY SUNDAY AT 11AM WHO ARE WE? We are Luke, Lori and Leon :) And the Lahakai is an ongoing project to not only create an environmentally friendly sailboat and change our lifestyles but also get back to the thing we love the most; art. Together we are videographers, graphic designers, artists and a dog. And we want to be able to get in touch with our skills to see how we can use them to learn new things, help the environment and change the way we perceive the world. We want to stop talking about how we can make a change - and do it! Starting with building the Lahakai!
