Overall, however, fuel consumption is low. When we took 18 days to cross the Atlantic Ocean we only used 4 gallons of Diesel and most of that was for running the generator! Our Bris 12.5 dinghy developed water leak. It would flood 3 in deep about 50 gal to bail out every use. Used dinghy davits to lift bow high so I could get on swim platform and patch.
