One of our first projects involving sailing was back in May when we approached Irish Offshore Sailing to help them with a short promotional video. Unfortunately the only day which we could film on due to time constraints happened to have next to no wind. We headed out anyhow and put together a short video before they headed off on the Volvo Round Ireland Race later that month. I am trying out my new whisker pole. It is telescopic and weighs just 6 kilos. The reviews were not fantastic but I bought it anyway with the downsides in mind. It works well so far in up to 25 knots from behind...I will ditch my other pole which weighs 20 kilos and is 14 ft long. This one telescopes from 7ft to 15 ft.

Fuerteventura per noi ha avuto un gusto dolce e amaro. La prima volta sono arrivata ero incinta con Valerio e Leilani ed il mio primo pensiero è stato "Ma cosa ci trova la gente di tanto bello in questo posto?!" Abusi edilizi, mantenimento delle aree urbane non proprio eccellente per non dire altro... Eppure dopo solo tre giorni fra deserto, pietraie, vulcani e spiagge infinite dove volendo puoi non incontrare nessuno per km, quest'isola mi ha letteralmente rapito il cuore. Una chiamata a Fabio che fortunatamente si fida ciecamente di me e comincio a cercare casa...ma nulla nonostanete le nostre soventi visite, la bella Fuerte non ci ha voluti... almeno per il momento. Ma non tutto capita per caso ed infatti ad oggi eccoci qui con una nuova barca e tanti progetti nella testa!
