Sometimes, often, the forecast at Rutland Water and the actual weather aren't quite the same. The Forecast was very light wind F2. The reality was a very pleasant F3 for sailing in idyllic conditions.

SV Wahine, my Gib Sea 402 is waiting patiently and peacefully for me in Buren Bay. I am reunited with her tomorrow. In the meantime, my mate Mitsu ( also the Commodore of the Buren Bay, Yacht Club takes a video of her each morning.

When the sailing weather does not cooperate, we make up for it. We had gone out for a morning sail and returned in early afternoon due to rain and lack of wind. We stopped at Lighthouse Inn in Solomons for lunch. Monica and I enjoyed some fresh oysters on the half shell and some raw oyster shooters. Toni never had an oyster shooter so we encouraged her to try one and make a Moment in Time. See how she did.
