En plus de travailler sans relâche pour faire avancer son trimaran de 30 mètres le plus rapidement possible, il devra donc bénéficier d’un enchaînement de conditions météo favorables. Day 1 of the TP52 Gold Cup 2023 saw eight boats racing offshore on the Manly Circle in a shifty 8-11 knot easterly breeze. The racing was tight and demonstrated that TP52s of all eras can enjoy close boat-on-boat competition.
