Who has not dreamed of living off-grid. Toni and I with our Seawind Catamaran thought this might be achievable, with our water maker, 1600 watts of solar, fishing skills and the like. But are we really ever off-grid, AIS tattling your course and speed, smart phones and smart watches lighting up the airwaves, cell towers pinging your location with every text message, and now eyes in space. O domingo dia dois de maio estava lindo, vento bom de nordeste com 10 a 12 nós, na saída da rampa o motor não pegou e saí na vela, fui no través e ao tentar cambar a porca que firma a cana do leme soltou, apertei com um alicate mas o leme havia saído da posição e eu não conseguia voltar, o marinheiro foi me rebocar e no flutuante centramos o leme e apertei bem a porca. Fizemos o brinde eu e a Rosana, com os amigos Guilherme e Isabeli registrando, depois iniciamos a primeira velejada, coloquei a vela genoa pequena e a mestra, o barco é leve e com boa flutuação, ganhou velocidade rápido e no contra vento não adernou muito. Velejamos até a Vila da Glória e retornamos, foi uma alegria depois de tanto trabalho sentir o barco navegar bem.

🌴🌆 Kvällspromenad längs vattnet här i Panama City. Klockan var runt fem innan det ens gick att röra sig ute utan att smälta bort 😅 Vi njuter verkligen av de här små stunderna – lite svalare luft, häftig skyline, barnen som far runt och ett lugn innan vi går tillbaka till båten för att fixa middag ⛵️✨ Så tacksam för vårt lilla vardagsäventyr här borta ❤️ Hoppas ni får en riktigt fin helg!
