Corti Creare

We sailed to Fiordland in New Zealand and drove my boat right under a waterfall. This was one of the most beautiful places we had ever taken the boat. SV Parlay is a hurricane damaged Lagoon 450 catamaran, which Colin rebuilt with friends and has started sailing around the world. We found bulkhead damage on their catamaran in Panama, so have fixed her up, and are now sailing across the Pacific Ocean!! Attaching a spinnaker pole to the headsail and mast to take advantage of an aft wind. In this case it was a south east trade wind pushing me along from Magnetic Island to Great Palm Island

This might have not been a lap of the planet for these highly accomplished sailors and their crews, but there was no doubt that as the longest leg so far it was also the most complex and, as it turned out, the most stressful too. From straight line blasts to full on park-ups, the leader board took several major shuffles and ensured that few of the crews got much sleep at all during the 1,400 mile leg.
