We sailed to Fiordland in New Zealand and drove my boat right under a waterfall. This was one of the most beautiful places we had ever taken the boat. The Sea Champ 18 was a cool little fishboat we found on display at the Southampton Boat show, and it illustrates a lot of the differences between boats built on this side of the Atlantic, versus those built over there in the UK. Even though it's just 18' it has a pilothouse. But, it still has a ton of fishing room in the open cockpit. J109 "CTRL J" beating up the shore to stay out of the tide shortly after the start of the Harbour Race of Cork Week 2024. With over 100 boats on the start line everyone was fighting for air shortly after the start, with the tide coming in all day it paid to get right early to find both clear air and some relief from the stronger tide out in the main channel.
