We've scheduled about a week to sail to San Diego to pick up some things that the previous owner told us he found in storage. He was kind enough to hang onto them until we could schedule time to sail down and get them. As part of the 2025 Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race, shortly after the start as the boat passed Bondi Beach LawConnect Owner Christian Beck and Australian swimming legend Ian Thorpe AM honoured those who lost their lives in the recent Bondi terror attack by scattering rose petals. Fifteen yachts representing the race’s organisers, the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia – one for every victim who sadly lost their life during the tragedy - were also part of the memoriam. A host of other competitors joined in honouring those lost on December 14, 2025.
