Unter Surfern wird das Zeichen auch als Hang Loose bezeichnet und zur Begrüßung genutzt.

Thank you to 'Sea Cloud', HR 48, for sending us this great footage! Note the dinghy on davits... no affect on Hydrovane performance. As long as the vane can pivot freely, the dinghy can rest up on the Hydrovane drive unit or shaft. The line running forward is the remote course adjustment line. Looks like a smooth ride!
