Das Wort Shaka, begleitet von einer typischen Handhaltung, bei der die geschlossene Faust mit abgespreiztem Daumen und kleinem Finger gehoben wird (siehe Abbildung) ist ein ganz allgemein auf Hawaii und per Übernahme durch die dortigen Surfer unter diesen Sportlern gebräuchliche Geste, die zu verschiedenen Anlässen gebraucht wird und etwa so viel bedeutet wie „Cool!", „Locker!", „In Ordnung!". Unter Surfern wird das Zeichen auch als Hang Loose bezeichnet und zur Begrüßung genutzt.

Aquí os contamos todo lo que usamos para una travesía o singladura! Libros, APP,... Al final, piensa que has de mirar todo lo que puedas, para que tu travesía sea lo más segura posible. El mar, es algo que no controlamos, porque dependes de las olas, el viento, el sol,...todo lo antiguo, la NATURALEZA. Y esta a veces, es impredecible. Piensa que un barco, no es un coche. Eso es algo que a muchos, se les olvida. Haz todo lo posible SIEMPRE, por tu SEGURIDAD y la de los que te acompañen. Buena proa, buena mar!!!
