Passion fruits are one of the more odd tropical fruits because the flesh is not the edible part. By cutting them open, you reveal a center filled with seeds and a jelly-like substance and that’s what is eaten. The seeds are very edible and they are easily chewed. They add tartness to the taste, and while the first spoonful takes a leap of courage, the fruit is very tasty and the consistency is dominated by the crunchy seeds.

The J109 Going to Red head a slight lead over J109 Joker 2 heading into the first mark of the final race of Cork Week 2024. Both skipper were doing a good job of holding their hight while keeping speed as the battle to beat each other around the first mark. Despite cyclone warning, we headed off to climb the Le Morne Mountain in Mauritius. The hike is 3.5 km one way - easy trail to the basecamp, where the trail become a bit steep and several sections are nearly rock climbing - not to be undertaken by the faint hearted and definitely not when raining….. We did the climb before the rain started and had a wonderful, not so hot climb. On a sunny day the sea and the different shades of blue / green must be mind blowing. #adventure #hiking #hikingadventures #mauritius #lemorne
