You can do it with light following wind, but if wind gets any stronger, you really need to consider doing a maneuver like this where we are going down past the slip, doing a turnaround, and then motoring back up into the wind and then driving the boat into the slip, going into the wind. Mawan is a favourite dive site in the central area of Komodo, it has great coral, a good mix of macro and larger creatures and is quite a shallow easy dive. But the main attraction is of course the Manta !! We regularly see multiple Manta here, unto 20 at times mostly gathered around a cleaning station at just 5 metres depth !! Great place to get amazing videos and photos of these amazing creatures !!
