Most Croatian islands have beaches. Silba has something much harder to find. Silence. No cars are allowed here, and after just a few hours on the island, you start to understand why locals want to keep it that way. Taking a rare opportunity provided by some of the world’s best ocean racing navigators being in the same place as the forecast was announced, we asked them what they made of the projections and how they would tackle the predicted conditions aboard their respective boats.
