And then there were 6 🫣 Here’s a little fly-by picture reel of our second fur-baby Smidge 🐾 Rescued by Laura from under a green wheelie-bin at a teeny 500g - almost died of gastroenteritis but came back from the brink and never left (much to Ross’s initial disapproval 😂). We’ve had her a little while now but until we were completely confident she was suited to boatlife we kinda kept it schtum 🤫. Turns out she won’t leave the boat even if the windows and hatch are wide open but she does love to hang out during a spot of yoga on deck… Ronnie took her under his furry paws like nothing you’ve ever seen and their love is something else! Who else has rescue kitties on board and would pick take all the strays home if they could? 👩🏼🧔🏽‍♀️👦🏼🧑🏼‍🦰🐈🐈‍⬛🦋⛵️❤️

J109 "Going to Red" beating to windward had a fine line to thread the gap between two other IRC 1 J-Boats during the first day of racing during Cork Week 2024. With the breeze building and plenty of bump it took a while for the crew on Going to Red to find their sea legs and get into the groove. . The team at Bottom Up Boats hope you like this short clip from our week of racing at Volvo Cork Week 2024

Although launches are traditionally intended to serve as tenders for large yachts, plenty of people will want to use the Launch 25 for day-trips, kicking around the bay, and even watersports. Our test boat had an unusually deep swim platform and one touch I really liked was the flush-mounted, pull-up grab handle back there. It'll make getting into and out of the boat a lot easier, but when pushed down, doesn't interrupt the smooth, sexy teak platform's eye-pleasing lines. To make day use more comfortable, Chris-Craft also builds a head into the port-side console. It's pretty cramped, which you have to expect on a boat of this size, and when you swing the door open it does hit the driver's side console. A rubber bumper would do wonders here, to prevent the smack of fiberglass on fiberglass. Inside, the head is once more a cut above. It has a sink—a rarity on a boat of this size—and the stereo head is mounted into the cabin-side, a smart way to keep it 100-percent protected from the elements. This part of the boat deserves a closer examination, which comes through a bit better in a visual form. So check out this short video of the passenger's side console and amidships area of the Launch 25.
