The first days at sea with the new Hallberg-Rassy 44 Mk II have given us a very positive first impression. She has a fantastic rudder feel, allowing you to steer her effortlessly with just your fingertips. Even when pushing her close to the limit in a fresh breeze, she remains perfectly balanced and easy to control. The twin rudders provide exceptional grip and confidence, while the carbon steering wheel enhances that feeling even further. During our first sail, she remained beautifully balanced and light on the helm, even carrying full sail in gusts of 28-30 knots. Instead of feeling overpowered, she simply converted the extra pressure into speed, reaching a top speed of 12.5 knots. The in-mast furling carbon mast has taken an already great yacht to another level. Compared with an aluminium mast, its lower weight and greater stiffness allow you to carry more sail area in fresher winds while maintaining excellent balance and control. Beyond these obvious advantages, the carbon mast is also more responsive when trimming and tuning the rig. A fantastic yacht has become even better. Jonas Zelleroth. The Lagoon 60 has launched in Bordeaux! ▫️ Lagoon's latest sailing catamaran slots in between the 55 and the SIXTY 5. Aft, terraces swing down from the sides of the boat to give you a big platform next to the ocean at anchor.  ▫️ @LagoonCatamarans1984 ▫️ Accessed by a door forward of the saloon, there's a large forward cockpit area and they have designed the flybridge to be their most comfortable yet. It extends forward of the helm to the mast which is stepped further forward compared to previous designs. ▫️ With the mast forward, the saloon is opened up into one big connected space with the aft terraces and forward cockpit. Äntligen får vi lite vind, nu kan vi segla i 5-6knop och det gör något med humöret på en gång! Att traggla fram i 1-2knop har känts lite segt. Nu har vi ätit upp all färdiglagad mat som vi hade i kylskåpet, nu får vi börja fånga fisk eller äta av det vi har i frysen. Dagarna går och nästan flyter ihop. På dagarna hjälps vi åt med att segla, ta hand om barnen och fixa mat. Klockan 20.00 på kvällen försöker jag gå och sova för att gå upp kl 02.00 för mitt nattpass. Barnen brukar vakna vid 07.00 och Niklas kommer lite senare, så han får sova någon timme till. Behöver jag så tar jag en tupplur mitt på dagen men ofta har det räckt med lite vila i fällstolen på däck ☀️⛵️ Nu ska vi njuta av vinden som vi har och hoppas fånga någon fisk nu när sjögräset försvunnit 🐟🐠.
