When you sail into Senegal, you get a visa to stay in the country for 3 months. Visa is free, and you get it at the Police du Port in Dakar. I needed to stay longer because of all the work needed done on Galopin. in order to do that, I had to exit Senegalese territory, get my passport stamped, and then go back to the police for a new 3 month visa. Nearest border, The Gambia.
