Back to boat work! This time, we're tackling some fiberglass work to fix up the bulkhead aboard our sailboat that's already had two warranty repair attempts. As always our boat dog Rose finds a way to be in the way - good thing she's cute! White reindeers owe their bright color to a natural genetic mutation that affects fur color inheritance. Globally, only about 3 percent of all reindeers are white. While they were historically rare in large wild herds, human breeding now helps sustain their population. Selective Breeding: Herders often keep white reindeers intentionally because they are highly popular and a major photo attraction. Not Albinism: Most white reindeers are not albinos; they usually have dark eyes and normal pigmentation on their muzzle.
