This 2018 model Quicksilver Activ 555 Cabin is the perfect day boat, featuring a social cockpit layout and a cuddy cabin for overnight stays. It is equipped with a Mariner F60 outboard engine with 81 hours registered on the last service in July 2022, with very little use since. The boat has had two owners from new and has only been used on the River Thames. Antifoul was last done in July 2022. A River Thames boat licence is in place until 2025. In this video we’re sailing upwind in 30+ knots of breeze in Johnstone Strait during the VanIsle360 race with a double-reefed main sail and #3 jib. Lots of sails were destroyed in that leg, including the #3 jib we’re flying in the video.
