Alexander Marine as exclusive importers of Galeon Yachts are pleased to present the Galeon 435 GTO model to the Australian and New Zealand market. The 435 GTO is the latest and largest addition to the powerful lineup of Galeon Yachts outboard powered models, with its sleek contours and versatile space distribution on board, bound to stand out in any marina. The silhouette is a clear evolution of the acclaimed 375 GTO with even more aggressive lines and eye-catching details fitted onto the two-tone exterior. The striking side profile features full-length hull windows and partially glazed fold-down balconies, while the wheelhouse is surrounded by glass for unobstructed, 360 degree views. Galeon Yachts are famous for introducing the Beach Mode to a wider audience, with deployable port and starboard balconies that extend the width of the cockpit significantly to provide additional space for activities and entertaining guests on board. Another unique feature comes in the form of folding glass doors dividing the cockpit to allow full climate control and added security in the wheelhouse. The main deck includes the port side wetbar, a U-shaped dinette and three independent sport helm seats. Both side windows can be lowered into the hull - a marvel of engineering considering their size and location. An oversized, tinted sunroof comes in two pieces and can be retracted at a moment's notice. Down below, a well appointed galley area holds generous storage and offers standing height with easy access to both guest cabins. Opposite the galley, the head comes fitted with upscale cabinetry and a walk-in shower to keep things tidy and organised. The master cabin is in the bow and equipped with a double bed and a plethora of storage areas. The interior is well-lit thanks to the oversized windows, ceiling skylight and dispersed LED illumination. Quality and finish are typical Galeon's superb standards with sophisticated and curved woodwork, stainless steel details and a variety of custom options to choose from. The guest cabin is located midships and features a double and single bed. The full-sized doors allow for easy access during the day and privacy by night for your guests. The portside flush floor design allows easy walkthrough access from the helm to the wide bow, where a seating arrangement with a table or a complete sunpad awaits. The front bench is set in a reclined position with sporty headrests and stylish, two-tone quilted upholstery. To minimize rocking motion from waves, swell, and wake, the Galeon 435 GTO can be optioned with a gyroscopic stabiliser. Powering the vessel are triple Mercury Verado outboard engines with various horsepower options. With top performance, striking design and upscale quality the 435 GTO is a worthy addition to the Galeon Yachts lineup, far exceeding the expectations for this class of vessel. Please note: Alexander Marine is the official Galeon Yachts dealer for Australia and New Zealand. As such, we benefit from superior product knowledge and the ongoing resources of the Galeon factory and production staff. Buy your next Galeon vessel with utmost confidence via our office. The third passage race of West Highland Yachting week 2022 from Tobermory to Oban once again provided some close racing at the first turning mark. The J109 BlueJay just got across the bow of the second J109 Going to Red. The they were closely followed by the 3rd J109 Salamander who was forced to go wide as the fast charging Sigma 400 Sunrise with no mark room decided to ignore the rules and gybe in side rather than luffing to keep clear. It was a little disappointing that Sunrise failed to do any penalty turns after breaking the rules, karma came to the rescue of the boats who followed the rules as Sunrise's kit wrapped around the forestay which allowed Salamander to luff up under them retaking 3rd place on the long run to Oban. BlueJay showed a clean pair feels leading from start to finish just beating Salamander to win the race, GTR learnt that polars are king when one design racing and learnt the hard way that low and slow is not the way to go when racing a J109 down wind. There was lots of tight racing across the whole week which made for a great regatta in the Scottish Highlands. The team at Bottom Up Boat hope you are enjoying the action from WHYW 2023.
