Arrived in Bangkok, checked into a hotel near Khao San Road. Survived around 30min at Khao San - nothing like the charming and colorful night markets at Chiang Mai. Everyone hated it - even the teens! Left the hotel the next day and found a much nicer and more authentic area of Bangkok to stay in and explore.

We have emptied and cleaned our entire boat (after 45 years), and it is time to give the teak some oil to make it soft, shiny and fresh for our long adventure! #boat #boatwork
