Electrolysis damage repair on the keel of our 80-foot steel schooner Alaskan Gypsy. Using a @MillerWelders Maxstar 161S stick welder with 6010 downhand passes, cleaning up the steel and laying in multiple welds. This is part of the bigger restoration project as we bring the Alaskan Gypsy back to life in Wrangell, Alaska. Sundowner turned into… ground level seating🍹😂 We sat down… and the bench broke. Instead of throwing it away, we gave it a second life — as a herb garden. 🌿✨ It happened on a perfect summer evening — we grabbed our sundowner drinks, sat down to watch the sunset… and the bench had other plans. One loud crack later, we were on the ground, laughing. Now it’s filled with basil, parsley, mint, and chives — fresh herbs I use in my cooking every day.
